Michael T. Crane has over 30 years capital markets experience in specialty finance, securitization, derivatives and insurance. He has been a pioneer in the life settlements market since he made the first institutional equity capital allocation to life settlements while with Gen Re Financial Products, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway.
Michael founded Deutsche Bank AG's life settlements principal trading business, where he and his team traded over $2B (investment amount) of longevity-linked transactions globally. He was also the CEO of Coventry Capital Limited, where he led the distribution of longevity investment products globally.
Most recently, Michael founded Lane Gate Advisors, LP, where he managed an open-end life settlement fund with over $50M AUM.
